Content is King, How to Turn Readers Into Customers

Have you ever heard the saying content is king? well, its true good quality content simply works and makes money, the key to creating good content is knowing what type of audience your writing to and how you approach them with your writing.

To build a relationship with your reader use a more personal touch with your writing, using a second personĀ  narrative voice makes you seem more approachable to your readers than a cold and formal voice, your purpose is to connect with the reader as much as possible, in a way that the reader trust and agrees with what the message your trying to send.

Try to focus on the benefits of the reader, what I mean is don't try to look as your writing for yourself, give the reader the information it needs or he is looking for, be detailed and try to provide as much value in your writing as possible.

Be normal, many people try their fancy, high class writing skills when making hubs, and many people don't understand this, you must connect with everyone so its best if you simply use everyday language in your hubs, so it can be understand by everyone

There is a simple rule to this, if people like your content, they will come back for more. This is where your readers will be more than readers, when they liked your writing they will begin to begin trusting you, and so as a result they will take suggestions or even buy products from you simply because you gave them the information they were looking for.

Another tip is don't try to give too much, when writing online less is more, sometimes when people see long never-ending paragraphs, either they never read it completely or just skip through the content, provide the main info in a summarize way so the reader does not need to go anywhere else to find it.

Even when you are writing to promote or get a couple of clicks or sales, try to speak directly to the reader, explain why this would help the reader and how, show the reader that you care about his/her needs.

Hello, lester, and thank you for a well written hub. The only thing which I personally would have liked, to give example of how to do it and how not to do it, to give me a more or better understanding.

Very true... I have noticed that often, "less is more." I have started implementing advice and have noticed improvements... I believe that I have written some lengthy hubs that no one really reads past the first two paragraphs. I know I am guilty of reading maybe the first 2 paragraphs and the last paragraph of a lot of hubs because of the length of the hub.

Anyway... Good, well written hub.
