How To Be Successful With Hubpages & Adsense

Here is a question I been seeing a lot around the Hubpages forums and that is " How can I be successful with Hubpages?

Well, although I try to help as many people as possible that have this question, making money with hubpages is not about luck, is about knowing what you have to do, and applying those methods for every hub you write. Now you and I might have different opinions on what actual success on hubpages might mean, for example my definition of success on hubpages is building a strong presence on the hubpages community, and making a monthly check with adsense, for someone who is new to hubpages success might mean making $10,000 a month with hubpages, is not impossible but you would probably need lots of hubs and good traffic. I been with hubpages for about 9 months so far and counting and I have to say I have study those that are actually seeing some success just writing a couple of hubs weekly and have come to the following tips to help you find success with hubpages, if you are new to the hubpages community then this is definitely a most read for you, but if you are not so new but still would like to know a couple of tips to improve your hubs and your adsense earnings then stay around as this tips can also help you, so here we go.

Tip # 1 PATIENCE IS THE KEY

Sometimes while reading around the forums ( I do not post a lot but like to surf around the forums ) I see people who have recently joined hubpages asking why is it that they have not made any money yet with x amount of hubs, and the best answer I have for that and one that every hubber that wants success, especially with adsense has to know is this:

" CONCENTRATE ON THE HITS AND NOT THE CLICKS"

What I mean by this is to not be disappointed when you see 0 clicks on your adsense account, the best thing to do is to focus entirely on the impressions, each day put yourself the goal of getting at least 10 more impressions than the day before, do not look at the amount of clicks, what impressions means on the adsense account is simply an estimate of the total hits your website, in this case hubpages is giving you daily hits which are interpret by adsense as impressions, once you are on the 500-1000 impressions daily the clicks and the dollars will start to come as well. Of course the way to raise impressions or hits are by driving more traffic to your hubs and I will give you the best thing to do to get the most out of your hubs in terms of traffic.

Tip # 2 GETTING THE MOST OUT OF EACH HUB

Now this is the most important thing, to raise those impressions you need one thing and one thing only traffic to your hubs now, so I will give you couple things to remember when finishing a hub and that I do for each hub that can help you as well.

• Give your hubs SEO friendly tittles, for example " how to" tittles are always popular and questions are often typed in search engines, a good example would be what tittle has a bigger chance of getting indexed faster in the search engines " How to fix a laptop" or " How I fixed my laptop" well the first title its simply one that people would type in the search engines more than the second since the second one is more of a personal point of view, the main thing to remember is to put yourself in the shoes of the surfer looking for the information of your hub and think what would you type to find your article, and use that as your title.
• The next thing would be using your tags tool well, when you first hit create a hub you must always select at least 2 tags, my suggestion is to add at least 5 tags for each of your hubs related to the content of your hub, the first tag should always be the title of your hub and then just use synonyms of the same tags until you have at least 5, for example here are some related tags: how to fix a laptop, fixing a laptop, ways to fixed a laptop, how can I fix a laptop, fix a laptop computer, tips to fix a laptop, well you get the point, just remember to repeat the keywords in your title as much as you can in your tags.
• Once you have your hub ready and complete is time for some extra work, for example I like to tweet to my 20,000+ followers on Twitter a freshly published hub and instantly I receive a massive amount of hits to my hub that raises the hub score fast, also leave backlinks in some other hubs as well as other websites to increase traffic, what most hubbers do is bookmark the hubs in popular social bookmarking sites and that is a very powerful tool that will raise your hub traffic significantly.

Tip # 3 DON'T QUIT UNTIL YOU SUCCEED

My most important tip is don't quit, be patience and work hard, some hubbers make the mistake of quitting hubpages in their first 3 months because they simply do not understand the power of using it correctly, if you maintain a plan and a goal you will see results, read around for hubs that can help you with your questions and duplicate the ones that are having results, if you earned $1 one day with adsense, there is no reason why you should not make $2 the next, remember success is a journey not a destination.
