This is very good. What has helped me most besides a few things on your list, is I cut my nails with clippers very short-not too short-so there is nothing I feel I need to bite.

Biting for me was not only a nervous habit, but I felt I needed to keep my nails short or 'trimmed'. Once they were too short to bite, my desire was gone.
